Rural Home Life School Tours Bring your elementary school class to Cracker Country for an exceptional field trip sure to spark young students’ imaginations. As your class explores this unique outdoor living history museum, they experience how the daily lives of early Florida settlers revolved around chores, seasons, family, and community. Each class/group will have a docent leader, dressed in clothing accurate to the 1890s as their guide in this adventure. Cracker Country docents engage, inspire, and educate your students using fun hands-on activities developed to appeal to all five senses. Activities include: making a candle, making a class jump rope, churning and tasting butter, and shopping in our Cracker Country General Store. New this Year!
