Hands-on History Tours - 1st Saturdays every month

Hands-onGive your youth organization the opportunity to learn about the past, and become a part of it.  Led by one of our knowledgeable historical interpreters, youth groups can spend the morning experiencing life as a Florida pioneer through hands-on chores and practices of the late 1800s.

Hands- on history tours are offered the first Saturday of every month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  Summer Hands- on History tours are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the month of June, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  The cost of the tour is $5.00 per person.  Reservations are required.  Available for groups of 10 or more only, please.  This program is not offered in February.  Parking is free for this event when visitors enter the Fairgrounds via the Orient Road entrance.
